It’s May, and we’re celebrating our founder’s birthday! Birthdays that end in a big “0” make us want to reflect on our lives and accomplishments. Life throws a lot at us daily, and as we mature, we face more choices, responsibilities, and curveballs.
What Robs Us of Peace
Many sources disturb our inner peace - be it finances, the realization that we now have crow’s feet, or that we need reading glasses. Perhaps it’s the sick child who keeps us up at night or the sudden change in our career paths that shifts our focus away from what we wish we could do. Most importantly, as the days go by, we’re constantly reminded of the pressure to perform and do better. Are we really achieving everything we should be at our age?
Regaining Peace
It’s time to break free from these anxieties and lean into our faith. Let’s trust in the God who has carried us through valleys and led us over unclimbable mountains. Our God never changes. He is the one constant in our lives.
